When I first met Lisa I thought I was wasting more time playing silly alphabet games in yet another therapy. I couldn't have been more wrong. She thoughtfully taught me how to move to point to letters to spell my real thoughts. This literally saved my life. I'm forever amazed in the complete faith she had in me.

Trevor Byrd — REV Student

A team of educators who presume competence.

We believe there is no single methodology that works for all learners. Our instructors draw on communication strategies from a variety of approaches, informed by each learner's unique needs.

Our focus is text-based, multimodal AAC: building the motor skills needed to point to letters and words, alongside the phonics and literacy instruction that learners are often not receiving in school. We serve families across Montgomery County, Anne Arundel County, and the Eastern Shore from our Gaithersburg and Severna Park offices.

Private pay. No referral. No waitlist for intake.

We do not accept insurance. Private pay allows us to work directly with your family without the restrictions that insurance coverage places on communication instruction. No referral from a physician or school is required to get started.

Some families use DDA, HCBS waivers, or other funding sources to offset the cost of services. We can provide documentation of services upon request.
